Cross Country Team Finishes in a Tie For 11th at The Auburn Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – Junior Cassandra Goodson continues to lead the Southern Miss women’s cross country team, finishing 35^th overall out of 272 runners and leading the Lady Eagles to an 11^th –place finish at the Auburn Invitational Friday.

Goodson covered the 5K-course in a time of 19:12.93 followed by Lydiah Chepkwony at 39^th with a time of 19:15.95, Becca Wiseman was 48 with a time of 19L29.09, Keri White came in at 62 with a time of 19:44.03, Karen Tankersley was 95 with a time of 20:16.82.  Rounding out the remaining runners included Alisha Edwards (126) with a time of 20:53.12, Liz Palmer (141) with a time of 21:13.65, Rachel Nix with a time of 21:23.86, and Tomeka Shaffer with a time of 22:10.55.

Southern Miss returns to action Oct. 25, in the MSU-Short Course in Starkville, Miss.
