Slidell High School Boys, Pearl High School Girls Teams Win Southern Miss Invitational Cross Country Meet
Sept. 8, 2006 HATTIESBURG, Miss. - After missing last season because of Hurricane Katrina, 34 teams competed in the 26th Annual Southern Miss Cross Country Invitational. Slidell boy's team won the team championship with 60 points, followed by Pearl High School with 98 points, Madison Central was third with 98 points. On the girl's side, Pearl High School top the championship with 81 points, St. Andrews Episcopal School finished second with 89 points and St. Thomas Aquinas was third with 126 points.
