Tiger Volleyball Falls to Southern Miss

MEMPHIS, Tenn. --The Southern Miss volleyball team defeated Memphis in

four games, Friday night, 15-9, 3-15, 15-9, 15-13, to snap a two-match losing

streak and improve to 11-18 and 3-12 in Conference USA.

Lindsay Westendorf led the Golden Eagles with 19 kills and 11 digs,

Kendall Reid-Webster finished with 15 kills and 13 digs. Westendorf also

recorded four service aces. Ginger Garrett led Memphis with 13 kills with

April Harriman and Laura Stoke registering 11 kills each.

Southern Miss took game one 15-9, but dropped game two 15-3. The Lady

Eagles were able to bounce back to take games three and four, 15-9 and 15-13.

Southern Miss concludes their regular season at UAB, Saturday, before

heading to Charlotte, N.C., for the Healthy Choice Conference USA Volleyball

Tournament, Nov. 16-19.
