Women's Indoor Track and Field Team Performs Well at LSU Twilight Invitational
had one last tune up before heading to the Conference USA Indoor Track and

Field Championships on Feb. 24-25.

Several Lady Eagles posted improved times and marks in the LSU Twilight

Invitational. Sprinter Prudence Reid recorded a season best time of 7.95 in

the 60-meter dash. Keisha Johnson ran an 8.04 in the 60-meters for a season

best and also ran a 26.94 in the 200 meters for a season best. Yolanda

Johnson ran a time of 26.01 in the 200 meters, improving her time on the

season by 1.07 seconds.

Jessica Crump ran the 400 meters for the first time this season and posted a

season-best 57.21 time. Freshman Tomeka Shaffer posted a season best time of

5:41.81 in the one-mile run and finished seventh in the process. Ayanna

Buchanan ran a season best 8.93 in the 60-meter hurdles. Hope Sinclair

recorded a season best 5'8" in the high jump, and had a season high in the

long jump of 18'1.50". Nikki Montgomery posted a season best jump of 17'4"

in the long jump.
