HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Sophomore long and triple jumper Ashley May (Birmingham, Ala.) earned Conference USA Female Co-Athlete of the Week honors announced today by the league office. May recorded an NCAA Provisional Qualifying and C-USA-best mark of 6.24 meters (20-05.75) in the long jump to take top honors at the LSU Purple Tiger Indoor Classic in Baton Rouge, La. Her winning and personal-best mark bettered the second-place finisher by six inches. She also finished fifth in the triple jump with a personal best mark of 12.17 meters (39-11.25), which currently ranks third best in the league. This is May's first career athlete of the week honor.
