Track and Field's Cheris Fletcher Named CoSIDA Academic All-District
Southern Miss senior track and field star Cheris Fletcher was named second team CoSIDA All-Academic District 6, announced Monday afternoon.

Southern Miss Has 113 Student-Athletes Named to Commissioner's Honor Roll
A total of 1,958 student-athletes, including 113 from the University of Southern Mississippi, have earned recognition to the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2008-09 academic year, Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced today. This is an increase of more than seven percent from last year's honor roll list. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Fletcher and Prudilova Named To USTFCCCA Division I All-Academic Track and Field Team
A record 468 Division I women's track and field student-athletes were honored for achievements in athletics and academics, announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
