HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's tennis team hosted the annual Lady Eagle Fall Classic, beginning Friday at the Hattiesburg Racquet Club.

Friday's play consisted of doubles action. Playing in the No. 1 spot for the Lady Eagles were Stephanie Dellocono and Lauren Gutterman. They were defeated by Troy's No. 1 team, 8-6.

Ali Blackett and Grace Kammerer played as the No. 2 team for Southern Miss and were victorious over Troy's team, 8-6.

The Lady Eagle Fall Classic continues on Saturday, with doubles action beginning at 10 a.m., followed by singles at 11 a.m.
