Jared Hill is in his third season as the manager and stringer for the Southern Miss women's tennis program. He is a 2004 graduate of Petal High School, where he was a four-year letterwinner for Coach Brian Pippen. He competed in junior tournaments in Mississippi and the Southeast, while ranking in the top 5 in the state during the last four years.

Hill spent last spring in France studying abroad and was part of the 2006 NIKE/Southern Miss Tennis Camps. He continues to compete in USTA sanctioned tournament leagues.

He is the son of Steve and Gwen Hill, majoring in biological sciences and foreign languages and literature.
