HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss softball team will hold an open walk-on tryout for students currently enrolled at Southern Miss for the 2008-09 academic year with at least 12 semester hours. The try-out will be held at the Southern Miss Softball Complex on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

An informational meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on August 28, to complete the necessary paperwork required for the tryout on the second floor of the Athletic Center in the Athletic Department Suite in Room 264.
