Soccer's Hrapmann and Hamlin Earn Academic Honors

IRVING ,Texas - Southern Miss soccer players Renee Hrapmann and Liz Hamlin were both recognized today by Conference USA with spots on the All-Academic Teams.

Hrapmann was chosen as one of the 12 players in the conference to earn first- team accolades. Hamlin garnered second-team honors along with 10 other players throughout the league.

"This is a well deserved honor for these two young ladies," head coach Scott Ebke said. "They have worked hard in both in the classroom and on the field this season and I am extremely proud of them."

Hrapmann is a junior international business major who carries a 3.72 GPA. She started all 19 games this season playing nearly 1,400 minutes. She scored one goal and also had an assist on the season.

Hamlin started all 19 games playing over 1,400 minutes in her junior season. She took seven shots from her defender position, four on goal.
