Canham and Magee named as SAAC Athletes of the Week
soccer player Lindsay Canham and football player Roy Magee as its Athletes of the Week for the week Oct. 23-29.

Canham, a native of London, England, scored two goals in the 5-2 win over Tulane to help the Lady Eagles clinch the

fifth-seed in the Conference USA tournament. She also had one assist.

Magee, a native of Mandeville, La., had eight tackles (four solos and four assisted). He had seven tackles for

28-yards loss. He also had three quarterback sacks in helping the Golden Eagles stay unbeaten in Conference USA.

He was named Co-Defensive Player of the Week in C-USA.
