Soccer Team Hits The Road To Play At SMU and Tulsa

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- - The Southern Miss women's soccer team hits the road for a pair of Conference USA matches over the weekend, traveling to SMU on Friday and Tulsa on Sunday.

The Lady Eagles (5-6-0, 1-1-0) are coming off of a 1-0 shutout win over East Carolina, last Sunday. Sarah McFadden scored off a penalty kick in the 25 minute. McFadden leads the team with four goals and 10 points.

SMU comes in with a 5-3-1, 1-1-0 record, following a 1-0 loss to UTEP on Sunday. The Mustangs are led by Kimber Bailey and Kim Peaboy.

Tulsa dropped to 2-9-1, 0-2 following a 4-0 loss to Colorado College on Sunday. The Miners are led by Jennifer Kacegis, who has cored two goals o the season.

Following the weekend series, the Golden Eagles return home to close out their home schedule against Colorado College and UTEP.
