What do you like about the season so far? "We're really testing ourselves in games. We're not just playing teams that we can beat but we're also playing teams that are higher in the conference. We're testing our strength both mentally and physically and it's helping us prepare for our conference."

What do you think you need to work on and improve? "As a captain, I think that I need to work on being a good leader and motivating my team. I need to help my team score more goals and be a creator and a busy-body."

Having a career-best season last year, do you feel pressured to perform a certain way this season? "Not at all. I don't feel pressure but it makes me challenge myself. As soccer players and as athletes, we always like challenges. Everyone has a career-best and you want to step up and beat it. That's a motivation in itself."

The coaches have said that you're the best player on the team with the ball. How do you work to maintain that ability? "I feel like it's a gift and I'm working on my touch every day. It's something that I'm always going to have and I feel blessed to have it. I'm going to use it to the best of my ability."

How important is team chemistry? "In this stage of the season, it's really needed. We're coming off of losses from big teams and we're about to start the conference. Team chemistry is vital right now. It's something that we need on and off the field."

Explain your job on the field? "My job on the field is to be a motivator and to get everyone involved. I try to be involved on every play and make myself hard for other people to mark. When people play me, I want them to say 'I don't want to mark her'."

What do you like about living in Mississippi? "Obviously it's a lot different from Ireland. The hospitality is great. You couldn't meet friendlier people. When you're coming a long way from home, it definitely helps you settle here. Everyone is so friendly and I love it."

What is your dream job? "I would love to continue playing soccer. I played semi-pro this summer so I want to take it as far as I can go. Besides that, I'm really into humanitarian aid. I want to be a servant to other people and help provide."

What other sports do you enjoy besides soccer? "To be honest, soccer is my life. I eat, breath and sleep soccer."
