Track Teams Heading in Right Direction Golden Eagle field events highlighted the performances with Emmanuel Osabutey and Cedric Norman, placing first and second, respectively, in the long jump. Osabutey jumped a personal best 25'0", while Norman jumped 23'6". Wenston Riley finished first in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.96. Bryan Bruner took first place in the shot put with a toss of 51'11.75". Norman finished second in the high jump at 6'6.75". The Golden Eagle sprinters turned in improved times across the board. Osabutey posted a time of 10.66 in the 100 meters and finished third. Riley finished fifth with a time of 10.76, and Norman finished seventh with a time of 10.87. Riley turned in a time of 21.66 in the 200 meters and finished fifth. Isaac Gang ran a time of 1:59.49 in the 800 meters and finished eighth. The Lady Eagles collected 13 performances in the top eight finishes. Sandra Allen took first-place in the long jump with a jump of 19'0.50". Nikki Montgomery finished third with a jump of 18'9.25". S'Dori Sims finished fourth in the triple jump at 37'6.50", and Montgomery finished seventh with a jump of 36'7.75". Tamara Dayes finished second in the shot put with a toss of 42'11.75", and Anna Askew finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 128'0". Sabrina Norwood finished tied for sixth in the high jump at 4'11.75". Lady Eagle sprinters posted improved times led by Prudence Reid with a time of 12.10 in the 100 meters, finishing fifth. Yolanda Johnson finished sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 24.98, and Reid posted a time of 25.34 for eighth place. Oby Amadi finished sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.78. Jessica Crump ran the 1,500 meters for the first time this season and finished eighth with a time of 4:58.14. Keri White finished fifth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:49.05. Ayanna Buchanan finished third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.43.
