Southern Miss Has Strong Finish at LSU Twilight Meet
Southern Miss posted some impressive finishes and times in the both on the track and in the field events in the non-scoring LSU Twilight Invitational Indoor Meet that was run Feb. 15 in the LSU Fieldhouse.

Coach Wayne Williams' men's team used the meet as a final tuneup for the upcoming outdoor season.

In addition to several top 10 finishes, Southern Miss' Marvin Lucas and Bryan Bruner picked up two Golden Eagels' first places of the day, winning the long jump and shot put, respectively. Lucasu had a jump of 25'2.50", while Burner's throw was 56'.
