Southern Miss Alumni Chapters to Host Summer Events for Golden Eagle Fans

HATTIESBURG - Three summer events hosted by Southern Miss Alumni Association chapters will help Golden Eagle football fans from across south Mississippi prepare for the upcoming athletic seasons. July events in Jackson and Biloxi and an August event in Hattiesburg will offer Southern Miss alumni and friends the opportunity to meet with new head football coach Larry Fedora; Golden Eagle players; coaches Larry Eustachy, Joye Lee-McNelis and Corky Palmer; Seymour and the Southern Miss cheerleaders. The University's Official Ring and Southern Miss merchandise will be available for purchase, and the proceeds from ticket sales at all three events help to fund chapter scholarships. The events are as follows: The Jackson All-Star Party will be held on Thursday, July 17, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Mississippi Trade Mart. Tickets are $15 each or $25 per couple. Children 6-12 are $5, while there is no charge for children 5 and under.
