Received a medical redshirt after suffering a season ending back injury
Was on his way to a stellar season picking up four wins in five games
He was 4-1 with a 2.17 ERA and 24 strikeouts, winning his first three collegiate games
Had his best outing of the season vs. Alabama at Trustmark Park where he took a no-hitter into the eighth inning striking out six
